In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Central, walkable location — A 10-minute walk from EPIC and about 15 minutes on foot to Trinity College, Temple Bar and Dame Street.
  • Private parking on site — Guests can park directly at the hotel, a real advantage in central Dublin.
  • Strong breakfast with local flavour — A full Irish breakfast with sausages, black pudding, porridge and fresh pastries, plus vegetarian options like cucumber and paprika.
  • Friendly, attentive staff — Guests repeatedly note welcoming and helpful front desk and bar team.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Rooms can feel basic for the price — With a modest 6/10 for rooms and cleanliness, some guests may find the accommodation lacking the polish expected at this level.
  • Check-in restricted to a narrow window — You must arrive between 15:00 and 23:59, which might be inconvenient for late-night arrivals.
  • No pets allowed — The hotel does not accept pets, so you'll need other arrangements if travelling with an animal.

8.3Verified guest

“Front desk staff were very friendly, the room was clean and tidy. It's a quiet hotel and I'll stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.”

8.3Verified guest

“The hotel is quite close to the centre – about a 15-minute walk straight ahead to Trinity College, Temple Bar and Dame Street. Bus stops are practically in front, taking you downtown in under 10 minutes. Supermarkets like Spar and Tesco are next door and open until 11pm. Breakfast was very Irish – sausage, sautéed potatoes, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, beans, black pudding and porridge – plus fruit, fresh croissants and more. Great value, especially over Easter when the hotel was full. Reception staff were very friendly.”

8.3Verified guest

“Staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive. I booked a room with air conditioning.”

8.3Verified guest
